An overlook that provides a wide open view of the Black Mountains. You can see Mount Mitchell, Mount Craig, Celo Knob and a bunch of other 6000ers from this here. Right on the side of the Blue Ridge Parkway gets you beautiful views of the Black Mountains. One of my favorite overlooks. There’s no walking, you can see perfectly from your car. Sunsets here are really nice too.

A little lower in altitude than ideal. This particular time, there were a few dark clouds covering the sun and top of the mountains so the sunset wasn't the best. Still peace and quiet.
