The trail is quite beautiful, scenic, especially from Elgin going south. The portion of the trail going from Elgin to Plainview runs along highway 42 and is not as scenic. The trail does have some bumps and rough spots. Keep your eyes out for them. Also heading to Plainview where the trail connects to bridges is not very smooth but somewhat jolting. A nice trail to have available and grateful for it here...
