A few things to keep in mind BRING BUG SPRAY!! There are no bathrooms. A great workout
Lots of biking (and hiking) trails. If you are biking, prepare for lots of hairpin curves, S turns, and jumps. The course is a good mix of uphill and down hill riding. There are several "Expert Spur" trails as they call them, which take you on a more skilled path. We found some of them to be completely muddy and not in a condition to ride through, and ended up walking the bikes through some.
The trails are laid out as a two way: hikers go one direction, and bikers go the other (so nobody come up behind you). However, there are not enough signs pointing that out. We started on the wrong end and was educated by a kind gentleman. So tip, start on the LEFT side of the trail.
The trail itself is quite the workout. Be prepeared for lots of gear changes, sudden turns, drops, and bumps. Lots of places to stop, catch your breath, and redhydrate. Speaking of which, bring water (or sonething to drink).
