We were lucky enough to have Grandpa Jon make reservations last Saturday at Landmark's Kenwood Estate. The winery's idyllic location in the heart of Sonoma Valley makes it a must-visit destination for wine lovers and we could not wait to visit.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Anna, who provided a warm welcome and guided us through the wine-tasting process. The tasting room we had reserved was cozy and intimate, with large windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. A hearty charcuterie board accompanied our wine testing and gave us several amazing palette cleansing options. One of the highlights was the Beatles playing on a vintage record player. Vibes!
The wine selection was impressive, featuring a range of varietals that highlight the unique terroir of Sonoma Valley. Guests can choose from several different tasting options, including a classic tasting that features Landmark's signature Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, or a more in-depth tasting that explores the winery's limited-production and reserve wines.
Anna was extremely knowledgeable and was happy to provide insights into the winemaking process and offer recommendations based on guests' preferences. She is definitely passionate about her craft and was eager to share her love of wine with us.
In addition to the wine tasting, Landmark Vineyards offers a variety of experiences to enhance visitors' enjoyment of the winery. Guests can take a tour of the vineyards, participate in a food and wine pairing, or simply relax on the scenic patio with a glass of their favorite Landmark wine.
Overall, the Saturday afternoon wine tasting experience at Landmark Vineyards in Kenwood, California, was a wonderful way to spend a leisurely afternoon. The picturesque setting, delicious wines, and friendly staff starting with Anna combined to create a memorable experience for us. Thank you Anna and staff at...

I've never written a bad review in my life, but this situation with Landmark warrants it. My wife and I visited Landmark last year and enjoyed our visit. We even joined their wine club. We are members of several clubs and were excited to get their wine shipped to us for a few months. In November 2021, I notified the Landmark team that we wished to cancel our wine club account. We received a quick response confirming the email and that they would "follow up in March about our membership." Without any "follow-up", my wife and I received an email out of the blue that we had been charged $290 from Landmark for a wine shipment. I immediately emailed Landmark to rectify this as we had not consented to have our account reinstated, and, rather than an apology, received a response that their "holds aren’t forever" which is why they "notified you of the time it would be expiring." We were never notified and never agreed to have our card charged. They did it on their own. VERY unethical business practices on their part. Be very careful when signing up for their wine club! Two stars rather than one because we love the wine and the winery itself is quite nice, but the experience with their club was beyond...
Read moreI will never attempt to go back to Landmark. Abigail, the supervisor, is completely rude and condescending. I called ahead of time to make sure they were kid friendly and could accommodate us without a reservation. They told us they could so we packed up two kids and drove 20 minutes.
When we got there, there was maybe 5 total groups at different tables. As we tried to find someone to help, since no staff was at the welcome table, we were yelled at and told to go to the front. Abigail then followed us over and started to lecture us in front of our kids. At first we tried to shrug it off, but as the lecture and poor communication continued, we decided this place was way to sour and unaccommodating It was a bizarre and weird situation.
There are many other wineries so we just left. We went to another place down the road and were greeted by friendly people and had a blast. This is our first bad experience in Sonoma. I’ve been many times to visit friends who live in the area. Big thumbs down for landmark. I will definitely share our experience with friends and family and discourage anyone we know to ever step foot on...
