Delightful stop on our road trip! The wine maker, Shannon, is very knowledgeable and hospitable. We enjoyed a hayride through their property with a welcoming campfire burning when we returned. Their farm cats are sweet and friendly. The wine was delicious and the tasting room had fun table games which made the space welcoming to hang out in. This is our second visit and again we truly enjoyed ourselves! The owners always go above and beyond! They really know their wine and pairings. We had a beautiful picnic with delicious local meat and cheese (purchased inside) which paired perfectly with Prairie Barn wine! Cute little winery near St James Mo in a beautiful old barn, plenty of seating inside and a two story deck outside with restrooms.
