We could not have imagined a more perfect venue than DanClay Farms for our wedding day. The property is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning photo opportunities at every turn. From the romantic arched windows indoors to the charming rustic touches that also give the feel of a French cottage, every detail created the dreamiest backdrop for our August wedding. We opted for the beautiful indoor ceremony space with the heat and it was perfect, beyond gorgeous, and made for a truly unforgettable moment walking down the aisle.
One of the things we loved most is how versatile the space is. We were able to spend the entire weekend there ā myself, my bridesmaids and flower girls stayed the night before and had the most relaxing, special time together, while the groomsmen spent the morning of in the āman cave,ā which was not only the perfect hangout spot but also a beautiful setting for āgetting readyā photos.
On top of the venue itself, the care and support we received made all the difference. Dawn Pettus (who is family but also the best coordinator for anyone seeking) was incredible, helping us every step of the way ā all the way from the engagement to the very last cleanup on wedding day. She made the process seamless, thoughtful, and stress-free.
The owners were hard at work making the place beautiful the morning of, but you can also tell that it is a continuous job as anytime we visited it was gorgeous and well kept! Also, I shared a Facebook post from and won the Photo Booth, it was so much fun!
Iād also like to take a minute to shout out my photographer and videographer as Iāll be attaching photos and a short video that they did!! Madeline Isbell Photographyā so talented, calm and so much fun, and eye for capturing all the beautiful important moments and the in-between moments as well mean the world to us. Circle E Productionsā we canāt wait to watch everything back and relive our day!! So talented and made our dreams come true!!

If youāre looking for a venue that is both romantic and rustic, elegant yet warm, and perfect for hosting a full wedding weekend, DanClay Farms is truly unmatched. Our experience was nothing short of magical, and weāll forever cherish the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs the venue is beautiful and well manicured it needs to be known that we were told the venue is home to some 20-25 free range cats daily and the grounds are literally covered in cat feces, the flowerbeds smell of strong urine upon passing, and contrary to the contract that the animals will be placed inside during a ceremony there is no way to round up 25 cats timely. My daughters engagement pictures and wedding pictures are full of cats in the ceremony, one cat literally walked down the isle in front of our daughter creating a laughing frenzy that took her aww moment from her as no one paid attention to her . One was cleaning itās bottom at the alter, some lying in food servers and eating off the quest tables and several dogs running thru the reception. We had people holding cats under each arm to keep the cats out of pictures. The video of the wedding can not be heard over the barking of the rescue dogs and the owners personal dogs on the premises. The bridesmaids were constantly having to clean cat poop off their shoes. 𤢠The road to the venue is not paved and has become very rough as there is a large amount of logging going on around the venue at this time (6-1-19). As I am an animal lover a formal venue is not the place to have a rescue and vice versa. There is only one bathroom for guest to use and it was not clean upon us arriving. I had to ask for it to be cleaned as it at hair around the urinal. The inside of their carriage house which holds the kitchen had dirty floors and filth in the corners where it had not been cleaned well. I would not recommend this venue for any event which is formal or food being served. I also find it very interesting that any bad review on here can be challenged by a āgoogle userā which is probably the owner trying to get their rating back up because if any of my family didnāt agree with me I can promise you they wouldnāt be coward enough to go on the Internet and post anonymously so thereās your proof they are pretty dishonest folks. And who would even care enough about one persons review enough to call them out on it š so come on āgoogle userā throw your real name out there 𤣠and all anyone has to do to know Iām right is go out there and look and listen to all...
