Very interesting walk! It is a loop. This is probably the "main" attraction for the park.
Make sure to grab one of the white paper pamphlets with the numbers that guide you on what to look at while you are walking on the boardwalk (available at the entrance - the staff will show you, they were very kind). There is a lot of things hidden in plain sight that I would have missed/not appreciated without reference to the paper.

   Read moreVery enjoyaba trail with a nice overlook attached to it. Easily accessible from the visitor’s center - be sure to pick up a self-guided tour brochure (1 per family) for the trail! We saw LOTS of beautiful spiders from the trail. It started to get pretty hot and humid as we were finishing up around 11:30 am. Getting there right at 9am was a perfect time.
We have a 3 month old baby - I had no problems baby wearing on this trail. As it got busier, we saw many families with young children and/or dogs.

   Read moreMy partner and I stopped here on our way to vacation in HHI. It was a fairly accesible hike and we loved stopping at each of the numbered sites to learn a bit about the landscape and history of the park. Definitely recommend bug spray and a water bottle!
