This is the true definition of a hidden gem! We were looking to break up our drive from Charleston to Charlotte and I went on Google maps to see what was around the area we were driving that had not passed. This popped up and we went for it. SO SO rich in southern history, along with history in general and the community has done a phenomenal job in preservation and display. We spent about 30 minutes wandering around and taking it all in. The two folks on staff were incredibly welcoming and nice. What a great way to spend a roadtrip break!
