A hidden gem that I'm glad I found. Attached a few pic for others to see. As of 5/3/2020 there is no real water in the ponds, creek bed, or swamp below the prairie area. There is a main path to follow but I prefer to walk through the long prairie grasses to see what else is around. Spooked up pheasants during my walk last Wednesday. If you just sit on some of the large rocks out there and be patient you will hear everything come alive. Go...

This place is AWESOME ! I saw whitetail deer, tracks from a plethora of wildlife, and tall prarie grasslands. A large beaver pond and a small cave, with small wildlife tracks leading into it. Two small frozen over ponds. A simple to read and understand sign, detailing the botany...

No idea why, since the two locations are almost a mile away from each other, but it appears that of the 67+ pictures Google shows as being from/of the Kasota Prairie Scientific and Natural Location are actually pictures of and from the nearby but separate Kasota...
