Stafford Civil War Park — Attraction in Stafford

Great little spot in Stafford county to enjoy nature. Lots of incline for cardio and nice trails... although, they can be a bit narrow at times (my husband and I couldn't walk side by side but not that big of a deal).

My favorite parts were Battery Ridge (Spot 5) where the ditches were dug and the creeks throughout (you can see the largest part of the water flow at the parking lot near the winter camp structure).

We will definitely be back to enjoy nature here. ❤️

Can't believe I've lived next door to this for over 5 years now and never checked it out. Perfect if you're into being outdoors, hiking, catching scenic photos, history buff. Went here today and had a great time walking around the trails and learning about Virginia history. Nice tails and lots of signs to read. Beautiful scenery and thankfully there were restrooms available at stop 2. There are a lot of hills so be prepared to exert yourself on the trails in the woods.
