Pentoga Park — Attraction in Stambaugh Township

Been going here for years and I remember how kid friendly it use to be. Kids dressing up themselves and there bicycles with glow stuff and having a blast.But obviously there is a new sheriff in town. There is a bike light that comes on about between 730 8pm and the kids can't ride there bikes or play basketball and who knows what else Karen the camp ranger can think of... but the drunks and retirement people who rent out 3/4 of the campground for the year and only come there maybe on weekends can drive around on there golf carts all night. THEY DEFINITELY GOT IT BACKWARDS... also bathrooms are disgusting beach is covered in goose shit. so if your looking for a summer retirement home and a place to race your golf cart around after Karen puts all your kids in there place when the light comes on this is the...

I have enjoyed this beautiful park all my life! You will enjoy camping...be prepared for neighbors as lots of folks love camping here. There is a store with candy, drinks, some toys and ICE CREAM! The beach has a children's floating dock and 3 resting logs to get you to the deeper floating dock. No lifeguard on duty so be sure your Littles can swim or wear floatation. The real magic is in the sacred ceremonial bowl area and in the areas of the native American burials. These areas are clearly marked. Please be very respectful as you visit these Sacred grounds. Found this while searching Google maps on our way back from st ignace Mich. This is really a nice campground . we have 33 ft camper and this park has plenty of ample sites. Fair price for water and electric at sites. Park sits on a really nice clear water lake. We stayed one night. We will be back and bring others to share this park. Make sure u bring a good supply of food as it is rather remote from retail... Which is the whole idea. Nice golf course very near . Clean, friendly, good swimming, very nice pavilion, big open and flat grass area on the waterfront. Great place...
