It's a nice place, but sadly no sign of any forts. But the earthen mounds are still visible to the south-east and west of the formal walled garden (now called the Goodbody Garden). A tree dating back to the Revolutionary Days still stands to the west of the formal garden which is still very much alive and is now over 250 years old. Many wedding ceremonies take place in the garden either in the sunken garden or on the grass section. Other events are also held in the Goodbody Garden or in Fort Stamford Park.
