Was a nice little trail loop through the woods along the river with portions of it under the open sky. Didn't go have any but the apple trees are cool and hopefully too many people don't show up to fill multiple bags with apples and in doing so keep others from also being able to enjoy them while out for a walk.

I did it for an exercise walk so did not walk too much around the middle where all the apples trees were but looked like it would be a nice place to go relax in the sun. The bugs weren't bad at all while I was out even in the woods. Will definitely go out there again for some nice quick hikes without needing to go too...

Had a fun neature walk with my family. Saw butterflies, grasshoppers and crickets. Looks like all the low hanging fruit has been removed so if you're going for apples, bring some tools.

Still looks nice seeing the apples high up in the trees.

Removing a star as the owner of the house on the private drive went ballistic on someone who drove in. There's a place to park though and it looks like they're putting in a path from the parking lot to bypass that entrance.

We got a friendly nod when we walked past the house, so follow the signs and keep the cars out, I guess.

My family thanked me for the suggestion. We all had...

This park is GORGEOUS!!! Walking around the trail, your walking among apple trees that in the fall you can pick right off the trees. It is truly incredible!!! If you want a more “deep in the woods” feel they have that as well! You can walk the trails in the forest along the beautiful Red River. It’s very people and very beautiful. It’s hard to believe your just south of the largest city in the state of North Dakota. Be prepared for mosquitoes, they are out in full force! Don’t let that stop you though!!! Spray yourself and enjoy this...

Beautiful ecological park on an oxbow bend of the Red River on the south end of Fargo. An old orchard makes up some of the park but the vast majority of the park is being restored back to its native vegetation. A large riparian forest is found along the banks of the Red River. A beautiful unpaved trail takes you through the forest. A paved trail allows you to see the old orchard that was is found on the higher elevation and center of the park.
