Great hike! The double arch is actually on a 6.5 (a bit shorter) circle with several great views. The trail is maintained well and can accommodate everyone. The actual double arch is an offshoot of the circle, so you could just do the arch and go back to the parking lot, it would be around 4 miles. I would recommend just doing the whole circle.

There is a bunch of parking at the parking lot so no worries there.

If you are wanting to camp here, there are a bunch of great spots on the opposite side of the double arch, they actually look over the gulch to the double arch. I think there a small fee for camping but the hike was free.

Most of the hike in shaded which is nice, but on a hot day the eastern side of the loop is pretty exposed and would be pretty hot, bring plenty of water and snacks.

Overall, the trail took the two of us about 2 hours 45 minutes and we were not going too fast so I would say that's about average. Great day hike!

NOTE: I would use the all trails app (take a screen shot of the entire trail for reference) and try to download the free google maps for offline view to make sure you are on the right trail. You will lose cell service so it can be handy to have those. There are several forks that are not well marked and take you to dead ends, not a huge deal but worth spending 5 min...

Started out with a short trail that took you out onto a gravel road. The gravel road itself was 1.5 miles before you got to the 2nd part of the trail (trail was 1 mile from the gravel road to the double arches). The actual wooded part of the trail was great and amazing. Mother nature is beautiful. Lots of neat things to look at. Trail was moderate and was fun to hike. The trail itself was definitely worth it.

Walking the gravel road part felt like it took forever and was very boring. By the end of the hike, my feet were hurting from walking on the the gravel for a total of 3 miles.

Still glad we did it though because the wooden trail section was...

If you take the trail clockwise, you'll start on the gravel road section which seems to be never ending, and is the recommended route on All Trails. Though, I seemed to see everyone walking the trail counterclockwise to take the boring section last. Either way, there are some incredible views along the 2nd half of the trail, and the arches are like a natural window to another area,...
