Gorgeous little high mountain lakes. The biggest lake has a vault toilet. The road to the lakes is passable for almost any vehicle, but would be a little rough and tight if you're towing a camper or horse trailer. The lake has fish and a trail that circles around the lake. It's a great spot for kayaks, paddle boards, hiking, fishing, or swimming. There's not much of a "beach"...

We rented ATV’s in Alpine then rode trails around and ended up in Murphy Lakes. Excellent! We all took a dip and cooled off before heading...
