I recently visited this charming pumpkin patch! My best friend and I have made visiting this lovely ranch our Fall Break tradition. Berry Ranch never disappoints as the perfect way to kick off the fall season. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the vibrant colors and the earthy, sweet scent of autumn. Berry Ranch is located conveniently on the side of the highway and free parking is offered. The entrance was beautiful to look at, there were many pumpkins scattered about in front of its signature red barn. My friend and I took a hayride to a large field that contained a variety of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. We just had to take pictures. What struck me the most about this pumpkin patch was how welcoming the atmosphere was. Families and friends of all ages were searching for the ideal pumpkin to take home. There were farm animals and many fall activities for children to engage in. The hayride and affordable prices make this patch a great destination for families. After the hayride, we went inside the farm stand, which offered many more pumpkins, along with some seasonal fruits and vegetables. We bought three small pumpkins and left with a sense of nostalgia and with the most perfect pumpkins to paint. Berry Ranch is the kind of place that reminds you of the simple joys of the season and provides lasting memories. If you're looking for a fun fall experience and kind customer service, this pumpkin patch is...
Read moreIt’s so over priced. For those prices I would expect better kept grounds, larger area to pick from and so much more. The strawberry’s were so small and full of weeds; I got pricked each time I reached down to grab a strawberry. The walk is pretty far along a main road. And the get across the cattle guard they have a tiny board or a small piece of plywood that doesn’t even reach across the whole thing. The fact that anyone who goes into the field has to pay is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. We have been to other patches in other states and you just pay for what you pick. My husband held our baby and didn’t eat a strawberry or pick anything and it cost him $6. They say it’s for safety reason but even in explaining that it still made zero sense. The raspberry “field” was an ankle breaker to walk to and walk in. So many dead raspberries it looked like it had not been watered in ages. The raspberries were so small and so hard to pick from. I got maybe 2 handfuls in like 30 min. Our friends went with their kids and had a “sand bucket” 1/2 way full and it cost them $24! What a rip off. We will not be back and will not recommend to anyone. Getting a hold of them is pretty impossible and it’s hard to plan a group trip when each week the ripeness is fruit...
Read moreWe used to bring our three children to the berry Ranch years ago and had a really great time. In those days we went out into the actual pumpkin patches and picked pumpkins. We went out today with our new grandchild and much of the property was overgrown with weeds and some of the outer structures look pretty dilapidated. The so-called pumpkin patch we went to looked like an area where pumpkins were just picked and laid out on the ground surrounded by very tall weeds. While the staff was fine we thought the prices were a bit High and the property could certainly use some work. They don't take any kind of debit or credit cards which I understand but was not listed in very bold font on their website. We probably would have bought more items there if we have been able to use our debit card. all the staff was fine, but they could certainly could let you know more clearly when you are an adult and you're not going to buy a pumpkin you still need to pay $4. We found this out after we had gotten out in the field, lesson learned. They should also have a price list on their website for the pumpkins and the rides. The website could certainly use a...
