The River is next to the camping areas. There is a small area where someone put rocks around a very shallow part of the river next to the bank where kids could wade. There is a covered area with two electrical outlets and a counter top. The bathroom was clean and easy to reach. There is a handicap accessible campsite to use. Read moreI live here in the Santiam canyon, on the "Little Northfork" of the North Santiam river system in the foot hills of the Cascade mountains of Oregon, 30 miles east of Salem. There’s still not. I’ve never been at a campsite where the hosts were so strict. Not to mention it’s Labor Day… no one is coming out to camp today… everyone who wanted to camp for the weekend is already out...
