Steilacoom Pierce County Library — Attraction in Steilacoom

I’ve been disappointed with some of my recent experiences at Steilacoom Library. While the services for Pierce County library card members are clearly laid out, I’ve found the staff to be unnecessarily curt when I’ve tried to use them.

I’ve also noticed what feels like inconsistent treatment of community contributions. Certain types of artwork and themes seem to be showcased regularly, while other perspectives are left out. I believe a truly welcoming community space should be inclusive of all creative expressions and viewpoints.

I hope the library can work toward ensuring all patrons feel equally valued...

This place had a bunch of books. I'm not sure they realize that people don't read anymore. I'm not even sure they teach that in School nowadays. Steilacoom Library is quite small, but very cute and cozy. Everyone is very friendly and helpful there. It is fun to browse their shelves, and their limited selection makes it easier to pick a book that you might not have come across otherwise. It is very easy to put books on hold and pick them up at...
