Can honestly say that it is a beautiful venue but would not recommend it if somebody wants to get married and then have reception somewhere else that would be perfect only for the simple fact the owner Jake was wonderful his wife Lisa is a totally different story she has done nothing but has lied about everything lied about the services that were supposed to be rendered that were paid for they offered at the bar to kegs one was filled with nothing but foam one was empty and she's tried to say that we went through two kegs of beer but I only had 17 glasses of beer and the glass is runny 16 oz cups the bridal party had to get their own food the bride and groom had to get their own there was nothing offered to drink for dinner except for lemonade which was nasty and iced tea that was nastier they told us that because we were adding at a few extra people the price would go up because they had to bring in more servers for what I have no idea we weren't serving cake because we had cupcakes and everybody could take a cupcake when they wanted many people have did notice how the owner Lisa treated my family as if we were not good enough for her she was extremely nasty from the beginning and the day of the wedding my sister and myself had to go in and reorganize the cookie table that they pal Sky High and as we were putting other cookies in that we brought down we asked for a tray and she told us that we could stick the cookies wherever we damn well please her husband then tells us while she's had the two bad days well you know what I have bad days everyday and I still do not treat people the way that she treats people especially if you have a business you don't treat people like that and I have worked in many businesses and I have had many a bad day but yet I still want to work I still had a smile on my face and I still was kind and pleasant to my customers I think the problem is the woman needs to go to business school and learn business 101 she also needs to remember the old business model the customer is always right you want your business to flourish you better start listening to your customers take your criticism improve it Grow from it it's a great business that you got but it's going to fail if you continue to treat people the way you're treating another thing to remember social media is not something to be scared of and worried if people are going to diminish your name or tarnish your name on here it's word of mouth it's when you run into people on the street and you tell them word of mouth is what gets around because with word-of-mouth people see your facial expressions they hear the tone of your voice they know exactly how...
Read moreMy daughter and son in law were married at Hidden Acres 6/7/25. I cannot say enough about Lisa, Courtney and Taylor! The communication with Courtney was phenomenal. I emailed her with questions and her response back was always quick. We had a food tasting about 3 months before the wedding with other couples getting married in the summer, we got served so much food at the tasting and everything was delicious! Lexie picked out inspiration photos for the reception, she told them her colors and they brought the reception space to reality. We didn’t have to do anything except show up! They decorated everything, the signs and other decor we brought they set up for us, they set up the cookie table and packed everything up for us at the end of the night. We were truly able to enjoy the day without any huge mishaps. The new ceremony space and bridal suite are gorgeous!! The appetizers and food were phenomenal! The staff is so nice! If you are planning a wedding do not overlook Hidden Acres Lodge & Winery!!! We had guests say they did not know about Hidden Acres and they were blown away that we have this gorgeous venue with spectacular service in our area!!! We also had my daughter's bridal shower and Hidden Acres on the glass patio and it was gorgeous as well! We are so happy with everything, the communication, the beautiful spaces, the delicious food! It was worth the cost to not have to worry about centerpieces, decorating,...
Read moreFirst and last time. We went with a percieved expectation based on other reviews. Ordered some wine flights and an appetizer with intention of having dinner. After several passes of the server not checking on us, we decided to go elsewhere for a real dining experience. Was blown away by exuberant pricing (which wasn't up front regarding the wine flights at 25 each though sizeably bigger than usualwine flights which typically run 7 or so) based on the fact that they are essentially the only sit down restaurant in the area aside from bars. Some wines we tried were good, but given that there are 4 or so in house wines I wouldn't tout the name of winery at all. Given the better experiences we've had at other establishments with far more room, way bettter service, superior ambiance and similar or better quality I can only say that, yes the word profit isn't a dirty word but this place seems to take advantage of customers. If you don't mind spending twice as much for the same thing elsewhere than by all means do so. But for what we expected and experienced it certainly wasn't worth it. Price gouging and captive audiences are what I got from my experience. And the wine was by far nothing to brag about. In response to the rebuttal, we decided to leave based on poor service, we already had our meals planned and "asking how things were" on our way out the door in no way constitutes "checking on our...
