Buckley Cove Park — Attraction in Stockton

I have been a regular visitor to this park for many years, but I am no longer comfortable bringing my family here due to the high levels of trash, drug use, and noise. When I first started coming to this park, I was impressed by its natural beauty and its potential as a family-friendly destination. However, over the past few years, the park has become increasingly littered with trash. Broken glass, needles, and pipes are now a common sight, and I have even found human feces on the ground. In addition to the trash, the park has also become a magnet for drug users. I have seen people smoking marijuana and injecting drugs in plain view of families with young children. There is no security presence at the park, so there is little to deter people from engaging in illegal activities. The noise levels at the park have also become unbearable. People often play loud music from their cars, and there is often shouting and arguing. This makes it difficult to enjoy the peace and quiet of the park.

It's not a place you really want to bring your kids too. There is good fishing, and nice shaded areas to hangout, but the trash is excessive. It is obviously a spot for some kids to run away from home real quick and throw used needles and used condoms out the window after they're done with their problems. Gave it 3 stars because I enjoy fishing here a lot, otherwise it would be a 1 star.
