I was absolutely hornswoggled with the utter beauty and customer service this marina offered, I met with the owner derek, he is easily one of the most funny, non cha lant, baller and kind hearted people, the women working the store was amazing too, she helped me with everything i could ask for, and made some amazin jokes. Once we got out on our pontoon for the day we were able to really enjoy the lake and its beauty, and when we pulled back in the workers were waiting for us to help us dock before the storm, overall amazing experience and one of the best environments i have been in while on vacation here, 10/10 would try again

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL: I've rode this trail 3 times. Today my loop was closer to 9 miles. I know the signs say 8, it might a be little more. Regardless, there is a 4 mile short loop if you don't want the full 8. This is a great beginner course. Not technical at all. Paths are mostly cleared, might be a few tall grass sections on the edges, rolling inclines but not to invasive. WEAR BUG SPRAY, chiggers and ticks galore every time I've ridden. End hour ride with a dip in the lake. Don't forget there is one scenic overlook that is a great photo spot. I don't think you'll miss it.

My family and friends absolutely love Stockton State Park. My first time was in MAY 2025, but my husband's family has been coming for more than 30 years. The facilities were useful and clean, the scenery was awesome, and I can't wait for the next time. Please keep up the good work!

Took the family on a long tent-camping weekend at Stockton State Park. We chose the East Campground for our weekend and could not be more pleased with literally EVERYTHING about our stay. The campground was so well maintained, from the pristine mowing and trim job to the sparkling, clean bathrooms and showers. Plenty of paths to get down to the water for some fun bank fishing with the kids. Totally family friendly! They even had a live music show and complimentary burgers and hot dogs at the entrance to the camp ground. Pam and the whole crew at this park put a LOT of love and care into their jobs, and it shows. Highly, highly recommend this park and camp ground. We will be back!

The marina crew deserves a mention as well. We rented a pontoon to do some tubing on Saturday. We found a nice, quiet cove to park in for some fishing, while we waited for the day to warm up enough to get in the water. As we were getting ready to leave the cove, the boat wouldn't start. Luckily, cell phone coverage is decent and we were able to contact the marina. They promptly brought us another pontoon and transferred us and our gear to the new boat, and sent us on our way to an amazing day on this beautiful lake. Shout out to Derek and Kevin who made that happen!

10/10 would recommend this lake and campground...

I accidentally hit the wrong button and reserved a campsite that is a walk in, that's a long walk. Me and my daughter can't do that. I called them in loke 1 minute and told them I hit the wrong site and wanted to transfer to the one I actually wanted. They couldn't transfer it due to same day. I paid 28 bucks. Since I had to cancel it to try for one I could get to, I got back 3 dollars!....I paid 25 bucks to reserve a spot for less than 5 minutes all cause of their shotty website. Never making that mistake again!!!! As a single mother, that's just absolutely ridiculous! Shame on you Stockton Lake State Park. Update They did contact me at a later date and refunded me the full amount. I still will not be going there or recommending it. It was an...

Our trip to Stockton State Park was Thursday April 30th for 2 days and 1 night. We stayed in the camper cabins at the campgrounds. We met a friend with a boat and fished both days. The campgrounds, camper cabin, and bathhouse were all in great shape. I think the camper cabins are a little pricey, but they are nice solid structures with electricity, a small refrigerator, a microwave, bedroom, living area with a table and a futon. The cabin had a covered porch, a fire ring, and a picnic table. The bathhouse was about 130 yards from our camper cabin. The boat ramp (37°36'19"N 93°45'11"W) area was also well cared for with many fixtures with a fresh...
