Terrible Dog Park. Has no rules and enforcment. No police presence ever. No one reports anythingl. Should be shut down to dogs and dog owners. Dog owners leave their dog waste tied up in bags all over the surrounding trails, hanging up in trees, and piled high by the trash can. Rude dog owners too when you ask them nicely to pick up after their pet. I don't get how dog walkers/owners can walk with a bag of dog poop for 2 hours and can't bring it home to throw in their trash can , they can't fathom to put it in their own mercedes cross over hybrid electric SUV. or BMW beamer. So they drop it on the ground on the trail for hikers to step in. If the mountain-bikers weren't enough to dissuade a hiker from hiking in the fells the rude dog-owners can. Also DOGS are NOT ALLOWED TO SWIM IN THE RESERVOIR But dog owners ignore this and put their dogs off leash (Which is also against the rules Doges are suppoed to be LEASHED) and they let them swim in the reservoir which is an EMERGENCY WATER SUPPLY for the SURROUNDING TOWNS of WINHESTER , STONEHAM, MELROSE, MALDEN. etc. They need to stsrt fining dog owners who drop the poop bags on the ground and have cameras there recording. There have been several incidents between dog owners and other trail users, primarily hikers when hikers try to call out dog owners. (Same thing happens with the mountain bikers, when hikers try to call them out for breaking the rules of the Reservation.) Nothig is ever done. Dogs are out of control here too their owners have them off leash and they dont' control their animals. MORE ENFORCEMENT AND REGULATION...

I rate dog parks based on how the general culture is of dog behavior and correct owner involvement to monitor play. I felt this dog park was not as good as some others I’ve been too. A large dog continually followed me and my small dog around trying to lick her private parts. It took about 10 minutes for me to locate the owner and another couple for him to correct the dog. It was scary because I couldn’t not get the dog off my dog and didn’t know if the dog could become aggressive at anytime. And the owner, instead of taking responsibility for not being available to correct his dogs behavior asked me if my dog was in heat… as if to excuse his dog from any sort of reprehension and okay its behavior and put the blame on my dog. No , my dog is spayed. But even if she was in heat you still should be around your large dog to modify its behavior should it choose to continually push itself into another person or...

Be very careful when visiting this park! I parked my car here ( I am a tiny female who often travels alone ( and I was having a check engine light problem. I left my car here after dark to try to go and get help, and when I came back the gate was locked. I couldn't get a hold of anybody to unlock the gate to get my car to get it started again and early in the morning it was towed! They do not give you any second chances here! Do not even make one mistake or it will be a very very expensive time for you. They also will ticket your car on top of towing it, and they do not care if you're having mechanical issues. They are quite vicious about their parking. I will never return to this park again for how I was treated, and I am telling all of my friends who visit this park so just go somewhere else. To be treated like this...

Great place for just about everything the reservation is beautiful & has over 2,275 acres of parks, ponds & forest literally spread through 6 towns crossing both sides of the highway & just minutes from Downtown Boston. There is a large free parking lot, fields, a playground for the Kiddos, Dog Park for the Pooches & over 100 miles of mixed use trails to explore throughout. Along many of the trails you'll find massive glacial boulders (some bigger than a house) that you can climb up onto and check out the view & there's lots of other things to explore! 🌳☘️ 👨‍👩‍👧 🥅 ⚽ 🐕 🚮 🥾 🙎🏼‍♂️ 🔞 🤤 🙈
