In 2000, the museum moved to Stowe and opened to the public at its current location in 2002. In 2011, the word snowboarding was added to the museum's name.

Frankly, not much there. What is there is ok and interesting, but just not much to look at, and some photos and artifacts weren't labeled so I didn't know what I was looking at. Other ski museums have much much more. But, if you have some time to kill while in town, it's...

It is a small museum that brings together past and today. I learned a lot about the history of skies and also enjoyed the modern art graphic design exhibit downstairs. The posters in the shop are also fun and you never know what you will find sifting...
