The Broadhead creek Conservatory has a 1 mile wraparound path, good for walking running, and the sign says bicycles – no motorized vehicle vehicles permitted. The grassy walking paths are kept very nicely. However, it seems the walking path needs a new layer of gravel to be added, as some spots are overgrown with grass and others are harder like concrete to walk or run on. . they do a great job, keeping the nature, preserve litter, free, and there is always plenty of parking. there are beautiful benches that are very clean and sturdy spread throughout the area. Add some new stone and this would easily be a five star review. One last item; look at their website they do host a variety of educational and interesting activities inside the main building. A little something for...

Neat, bautiful green area. Peaceful to take a walk & watch the frogs staring at you..lol. Bring binoculars so you can enjoy the eagles' nest (if you're lucky you might see an eagle flying by) This place used to be a golf area(meaning lots of treatment on the green grass) however, the ones who care for this place are doing their best to bring the natural green, back to its normal-nature-stage. Its open to the public. Restrooms are closed due to covid19! There are different paths you can take. There are plenty of tall trees that bring fresh breeze and make your tour(walk, buke, run) enjoyable. I see lots dogs walking their humans😊🤣& i see lots of humans picking up after their dogs which I love...

A quiet and hidden gem for those of you looking for easy access to nature. Clean cinder walking trails circle this retired gold course turned into a nature preserve. Several grass walking paths take you through the center if you're looking to explore a bit of nature. There are a few park benches to sit at around the outer pathway. A small (relatove to the poconos) elevation change on one side, tall grasses, wooded sections, river access and an...

Lovely, quiet, peaceful and easy to walk. There are gravel paved trails through the trees but also broad, mowed paths through the areas of grass and bush, which give a feeling of true immersion among the plants and fauna. Lots of little interesting things to stumble upon too. Going in early autumn was a treat, with the cool, mild weather, changing leaves and dried plant life bursting with strange seeds.

A very nice place for a leisurely walk. The main trail is gravel but they have cut outs through the middle to explore plant and animal life. There are a lot of Hawks and the variety of natural plant life is simply beautiful.
