Sandsprit Park is a wonderful park located in the Manatee Pocket of the Intercoastal Waterway near the St. Lucie Inlet. Many boaters who trailer, love to drop their boats in the water here because of its excellent location. The boat ramps also are good. Families, too can be found here as they love to picnic here and have their children play at the elaborate playground. Everywhere you look, there is a sense of both energy and relaxation. Walkers walk, bikers bike, and fisherman cast their lines here along the boardwalk that surrounds the park. There are also large green spaces for large parties and events, and for games to be played. A lot of people just come here to sit on the benches along the waterside and take in the atmosphere and watch all the boats go by. Come visit this park if you're ever in the area, you'll love the sunshine, fresh sea breezes, and beautiful...

Docks are nice. Parking is horrible. The main stretch of truck and trailer parking need to be corrected. The spots to park need to be re lined to you don't have to make such a turn in to the spot. If one person doesn't park right it takes up more spaces or you can back out.the center of the parking are needs to be leveled and pour more asphalt. The boats are bigger now and its not set up for today boats. And people just park thier cars any where they want. For a something to compair it to. Go to Jacksonville Florida and look at the Mayport boat ramp. You don't need all these trees. This is the most used public ramp in Martin county. Make more parking room for the bigger boat trailers. And parking...

Sandsprit Park is the place where fitness meets entertainment, and I have never enjoyed a workout more! Who needs a gym when you can power walk alongside an ever-changing cast of characters in this real-life sitcom?

As I strutted my way around the park (okay, I was slightly panting), I was treated to a parade of joggers who looked like they could outrun a gazelle, seniors power-walking with enough determination to shame an Olympic sprinter.

The scenery is stunning, the breezes are refreshing, and the people-watching is priceless. I came for the exercise but stayed for the absurdly delightful spectacle of humanity in motion. 10/10, would walk here again—mostly for the cardio, but also...

This place is a whole lot different than it was in the 80s. I remember that you used to be able to camp here, and the piers and boat ramps weren’t built yet. I believe this will be a pretty good place to fish, but you can’t use the piers or the boat ramps at the east end. Instead, you have to use the west end by the marina. You can fish from the walls though. I saw a nice snook, but I couldn’t get a picture because it saw me first. Also, I saw finger mullet and blue crabs. The coolest part about the visit to this park is the drive through the canopy trees over the road

I enjoyed this park it's on the water with great views. A real nice place to watch the boat traffic go by . The park has 2 ramps for launching boats , one is newer the other is less used a bit in need of a make over but still usable. They have an auxiliary coast guard office where you can take a safety boating class. The only drawback is parking it's limited so if you go in the afternoon the locals will get all the spots. I saw a lot of people walking their dogs there are restrooms that were open .
