I was on my way back to pa. After a trip to Fla. My boys had always heard me tell stories about going to the races in the old days and wanting the old 21 at the checkered flag! We had a great time and are sure glad we took the time to stop by.Im sorry we didn't get to see the brothers but we do understand they are busy and not as young as they act! Everyone made us welcome and Bernice and Bennie were great. I hope we didn't over stay our welcome as we spent hours there. The first Nascar race I went to was the 76 Daytona race . Will always remember the screaming announcer when Pearson and Petty wrecked. They are both great guys. I can't say enough about the place but if you are in the area and like cars don't make the mistake of not stopping.you will leave feeling like an old friend. And don't forget it doesn't cost a dime.I hope I get to meet Leonard and Glenn sometime and sure hope they soon get that 100th!...

I will note that the same year I visited, a few months later, they had their 100th win. Just sayin'. Visit this place. Even if you don't know anything about NASCAR, just fun to see what the Wood brothers have done that is NOT race car related. Time and...

She welcomed us warmly and said " there is no admission fee , come in and see 70 years of racing history ". We were treated to a walk through the history of NASCAR from the view of one of the founding families of American auto racing. From tools hand fashioned by Leonard Wood to the check paid to David Pearson for a 1970s race, there is something for everyone to enjoy. This was the highlight of our trip...
