This campground lives up to its "Reforestation" name with many sites having little to no vegetation separating them.

I tent camped at site 16 for 3 nights. The campsite was level with a large gravel parking spot, well suited for a camper. Similarly to the rest of the sites along the entry/exit road the site was very open and exposed. As someone who appreciates privacy, I regretted not booking one of the walk-in sites that were less than 250ft from parking but still surrounded by brush. I noticed the walk-in sites; 101, 102, & 103 but couldn't find them on the map when trying to see where they're located. So, for anyone else that experiences that confusion, they are located behind the restroom along the entry/exit road. The inner loop sites have more vegetation between them and more mature tree cover.

A beautiful forest background complements the playground which is located in the inner loops, along with the dump station. Non-electric to full hook up sites are available.

There's $5 a bundle of firewood available on site, but be cautious of the harmless garter snakes that live in the wood stacks. They'll ride along in your bundle if you aren't careful, gently escorting any out who try to hitch a ride. The wood is mostly covered and very dry, so buy extra because it burns fast.

The restrooms are in good condition, well maintained and stocked. Showers are a long walk-in closet size with a bench, dual shower heads, and hooks for hanging personal items.

The nearby zoo was surprisingly large with a plethora of animals. There's also the Adventure Park nearby which has a 1000ft zip line, ropes course, and canopy walk. Mountain bike trails weave through the woods, crossing paths with walking trails. I wasn't able to explore much of those trails though due to pet restrictions on a majority of the park. So if you plan on bringing a furry friend be warned that a 1-ish mile loop is all they're allowed on. The zoo collects brush to feed to the zoo animals which mandates these restrictions to mitigate the spread of disease.

All in all, a clean campground that's great for RV's, family gatherings, and access to...

We needed to have some RV repair done on our motorhome as we were traveling last week and the work was being done by Bayside Outdoors which is located just NW of Green Bay, WI. Excellent small RV repair and sales site and this was our second time there in three years traveling in the area from Florida. Matt, the sales manager, told us about Brown County Reforestation Campground that had just opened in June of 2022 and we went on line and booked a pull threw full hook up site for one night. Everything is done on line and my recommendation to Brown Co. was that they needed a phone number if those that made a reservation needed additional information. The area has a huge paved parking lot, concession area, climbing wall, many bike and hiking trails and the campground is spacious and open with approximately 50 sites with half having 30/50 amp electric, sewer and water. All that information is found online and you pick the site that you would like. There is a 3/4 mile gravel road to the campground, all sites seem level and they are open. Great campground for a few nights in Green Bay or a vacation with the kids. Would give it a B and would recommend. We travel in a 38' motor home with a tow can and had no trouble pulling into our...

Beautiful scenery in the winter months for snow shoeing and cross country skiing. Hubby used to mountain bike here in summer, as well. One downside is that I found it difficult to follow the snowshoe trail map throughout the camp. Would be nice if the trails were marked with stars that say "you are here", so trail maps were easier to navigate. We saw a couple signs that someone put little star stickers on themselves, to make it easier to figure out where they were located. I've been here twice to snowshoe, and got directionally turned around both times. A couple of other people I know said the same thing...easy to get turned around. Probably won't go here again because of that. But it is a beautiful area and plenty of trails for the outdoor enthusiast. And, just down the road from a great pizzeria called Rustique. Both places are worth a try. But if you're directionally challenged, you may want to stay on a straight path back and forth...

I would love to go back in time and camp here with all 5 kids! The perfect camping vacation for any family! Miles and miles of fun bike trails, separate hiking trails. Walk to the zoo, and the adventure park. Zipline, rock climb, or walk the canopy tour. Beautiful, new camp sites, lots of grass and a fire pit, driveways level gravel for your camper or rv. We were in the last loop closest to the zoo and could hear lions roaring in the evening. Short drive to the boat dock where we put our paddleboards in. 20 mins to Green Bay to visit Lambeau Field and the boardwalk style amusement park - open, no entrance fee, 0.25 cents for tickets, rides are 1-4 tickets each. We rode the Zippen Pippen, an old wooden Rollercoaster, it was so fun!
