I went to visit this temple a month back. Unfortunately, the timings mentioned earlier (8AM-9PM) has caused a huge inconvenience to us. We also did call to check the temple timings before visiting but nobody picked up so we simply followed the timings as it was mentioned on the web. We traveled around 1.5 hours specially to visit the temple but, by the time we reached (around 1PM) the Priests were closing. There was a man in Casual wears closing the other temple, he was EXTREMELY RUDE and told us in high pitch that “THE TEMPLE IS CLOSED” The MAIN PRIEST from Sai Baba temple also saw us entering inside but he still closed the doors on our face and behaved RUDELY with us. We started peeping from inside the glass door for SAI BABA’s darshan and requested him to open it just for 5 minutes Bcoz we traveled specially for the darshan. The priest was so rude he said he will let us visit just for 1 MINUTE , he also told us not to go upstairs near SAI BABA. He LECTURED US RUDELY and said, “Today I am letting you visit but Next time come on time”. His behavior broke my heart 💔 and I had to tell him directly that we actually are on time but, it’s just the timings mentioned on the website which has screwed us. If the temple opens at 8AM and closes at 1PM , and again if it’s open at 5PM-9PM they must update it. It is difficult to understand such timings if not mentioned properly. There are few other temples which remains open all day, so it was normal for us to think that the temple actually remains open from ( 8AM-9PM) SAI BABA WILL NEVER be happy if anyone behaves rudely with his devotees. I felt terribly bad because I got Prasad for Sai specially from a Indian Sweet shop but couldn’t even offer because the PRIEST WAS NOT AT ALL CORDIAL , HE JUST WANTED US OUT OF THE TEMPLE.
Priests are considered to be very nobel and are considered to be close to god and goodness . I wonder if they will not allow devotees to pray or if understand the situations than who will ? I will definitely visit the temple because I am a devotee but the temple associates must know that THE PRIESTS you have are not at all good humans.
P.S It’s been 2 weeks now, that they have finally updated the temple timings. I am glad that no one will be confused and...
Read moreVery nice temple with peaceful ambience, more importantly the Priests are friendly. But my main complaint is why is it so difficult for non committee members or non existing volunteers to selflessly go and volunteer for Baba ? Why this prejudices and over judgemental behavior over new comers to volunteering job but not new to the temple who want to come and help in the temple? As everyone else we also take time to come and help not to overpower or dominate the existing volunteers but to just wholeheartedly serve the temple. Is it that hard to treat people like Humans and respect them? Very disappointed with this attitude. May Sai Ram give you...
Read moreI had to travel to Houston from chicago on a business trip. I got to know about this temple , and took an opportunity to visit this temple today. What is supposed to be a peaceful experience turned out to be an inconvenient and bitter experience. The poojari was either already frustrated managing his kids who were at the temple or had a bad day, but he ended up transferring the negative energy on to us.
I understand that it’s not possible for anyone to have a perfect day every day. But, when a person is frustrated, and is not in a situation to maintain calm in the temple, it would be beneficial to stay away from duties until the...
