Not what I thought it was. Not sure what I was expecting but this wasn't it. Doesn't mean its bad, just means I personally was a little disappointed because i got my hopes up from all the talk around town and the good reviews. Lots of well maintained gravel trails that are super easy to walk, in a heavily wooded forest setting. Other than that? Theres not much else. Other than the play area, which I couldn't care less about; I was there for the nature aspects of it. I was hoping there would be more of the actual "park" along the river. Its not. you have to exit the main trails and take smaller, less maintained trails to even get to the river, and even then its no spectacular thing. Great place to take your kids to the park with the play area or even play some basketball on the pro size court under the weather roof cover with lights for when it's darker and know you aren't alone with 24/7 surveillance cameras from the Sheriff's Dept. Parking is good, just careful backing out. There are bathrooms and even a dog park. The trails are great for exercise, walking, jogging, or even bikes. River is fun just please don't forget it's a river... Cold water and under current that is strong enough to pull under a fit adult. Watch your children! Lifevests!
