Meadow River Parking (NEW) — Attraction in Summersville

Horrible change to the parking for access to the meadow river area. I have been parking along the 4 lane for over 25 years. Never had a problem with vehicles getting broken into along the 4 lane. This new parking lot is not nearly big enough for the amount of people that use the area. Lots of people no longer go now because the new parking lot makes the walk too long to the river carrying rafts and kayaks. There is plenty of room next to the bridge to make a nice parking area and better trail down to the river. Fantastic addition to the other small lot just to the North. Beats the row of 15 - 20 Subarus and Taco's parked along 19 just feet away from speeding traffic hands down, and provides adequate room for busy weekend days + great access to this...
