The Grand Black — Attraction in Summersville

We could not have been happier with our experience with The Grand Black Barn. Scott and Melissa were so helpful and flexible. They were great at communicating during our wedding planning process. Anytime we wanted to visit and imagine our setup they allowed us too. The Grand Black Barn is beautiful! We loved that we were able to use the entire space for our wedding weekend. We were able to bring in all of our own vendors. They have a room with decorations available for use which saved us a LOT of money. My husband and I heard so many compliments about the venue throughout the weekend. The cost is very reasonable for what you receive and the charges based on time and amount of guests was very transparent. It was nice to see prices before we even toured the venue. We did not have ANY unexpected fees or costs with the venue.

My wife and I attended a birthday party for her Grandfather last weekend (02/20/2021), and we had a great time.

The owners of The Grand Black are an absolute joy. Very friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. We had a small gathering, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say.

The building is beautiful. The location is absolutely perfect. It's off the beaten path, but it's easy to access and has plenty of parking. It's close enough to St. Louis for easy access.

Absolutely a beautiful venue! We didn't even know about it, until we had a catering to deliver there. Well manicured grounds, very nice building, and a very nice kitchen. That is not the norm with a lot of venues. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking...
