The Pentwater Patch — Attraction in Summit Township

We came here mid July of 2024 with our kids. We have been blueberry picking several times before at another patch and there are two features of this patch that really stand out: (1) a staff person led us to a row with good picking (at other patches we were just sent out to fend for ourselves); and (2) they have the bushes marked with flags where the last person left off, which is really helpful to go directly to the most abundant bushes. Also, I liked being charged by the bucket or half bucket rather than by pound. This encouraged us to pick more berries rather than worrying about the final weight. Wonderful place for U-Pick blueberries! We were here for about 1hour and picked 4 overflowing 7-1/2lb buckets of blueberries. They are only $12 each and worth every penny. It's quiet and beautiful out here, with a happy cloud now and then, and birds singing. We will be back in a few weeks for more, but nothing is better than this early picking. I feel like from start to finish you can have a very enjoyable experience while visiting the Pentwater Patch. This is a very well organized you pick patch with very good produce and price. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because of location amd parking. This is located out of the way but is fairly close to old US 31 and is very manageable. Wonderful staff and...
