This park is amazing! The splash pad is clean, there are shaded benches, water guns, floor spouts, a huge bucket that spills every 5 or so minutes, and run through sprayers. This park actually drains (unlike Plantation woods after their remodeling) and the water is warm. You can also smell the chlorine (another pro you don't find at most splash pads) which indicates that the water is clean.

The actual playground area has something for the bigger kids with climbing rope ladders and a smaller play area for younger kids with stairs. My only gripe with this park is that the shading over it does not keep the slides cool (they are a dark color which attracts the heat) and lots of kids get burned or stay away from them completely. I like to grab water from the splash pad and pour it down the baby slide so it cools off a little.

The swings are also shaded and there are 2 big kid swings and 2 baby swings.

Overall, this place has a little bit of something for everyone. There are baseball fields and a party room too! I think this park is one of our favorites...

There aren't any flamingos here. What this park does have is a lot of sports fields. The park got a lot of new and improved features in September of 2018. There are two baseball fields, one soccer field, one tennis court and three basketball courts. There is also restrooms, a playground, a splash park, and a meeting room. My favorite part of the park is the .77 mile walking path that winds around the perimeter of the park. Spaced in intervals along the path are outdoor exercise stations. I loved how you can get a full workout while moving through the stations. The landscaping was well maintained and if you should experience an emergency there was a call station by the the bathrooms.

This is basically a neighborhood park. There isn't anything to attract people from outside the initial area. The people that were here were enjoying themselves exercising and playing baseball and basketball. There were a few kids playing on the playground too. For the people who live nearby this is a great place to gather. The park is open daily from 8...

Yes! It’s a great park, and love what they did with the basketball courts. But I wish they would invest in soccer more. They have one field and the sign always says to KEEP OFF. It sucks I can’t get a group of friends to play even when it’s not in use.

I’ve seen police half of time on site, so I do feel safe. But please invest in SOCCER! Trust me you’ll have a people coming.

Also no dogs, cats, pigs, monkeys, alligator or whatever type of pet you have..NO pets at all..but yet you have 20 ducks swimming in a useless pawn. Remove the pawns and convert them to soccer...

Open weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and weekends, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.   Flamingo Park was completely renovated with a grand re-opening in September 2018.

The park features a new, 5,100-square-foot meeting facility that can accommodate up to 150 people for programs/rentals. The original meeting hall was also renovated.

Flamingo Park also offers three new, covered outdoor basketball courts; baseball fields with batting cages; reconstructed soccer fields; and a walking path with ten pieces of outdoor exercise equipment.

There’s a new baseball-themed splash pad with a covered seating area, as well as a refurbished playground with new equipment, surfacing, and canopies. #mommyandme #mommyhood #miamimoms #miamimomblogger #southflorida #southfloridaparks #thingstodowithkidsinflorida #thingstodosouthflorida #thingstodoinfloridawithkids #floridakids

Very cool sport complex park a half a quarter mile away from my home. I really like coming here to do my daily jog/ run. This park has a soccer field, some baseball diamonds and a coup basketball courts, so everyone can come and play. There’s even a small playground for the little ones too. Almost every time I come here I see that there are people playing basketball and baseball.
