Read moreElk Lake Resort and Campground - Looks like a nice place didn't camp here just drove in for a bonus photo on a motorcycle tour. I can only hope this place is better than others I have stayed in. But, if you like trading your everyday neighborhood for a camping neighborhood this might be your spot. Used to do the camping scene but too many 3 am guitar solo's, loud music all day long and into the night. People running through your camping spot and dozens unruly children wreaking havok while their parents ignore them. I thought you went camping for the peace and quiet, to get away from it/them all and be one with nature while being considerate of others trying to relax. Read moreBeautiful place to come and enjoy yourself or spend time with friends or family lots of places to explore aswell as beautiful scenery I don't think you can hunt but camping fishing cookouts hiking biking and anything else you want to do is at your finger tips reach here at the national Forrest it's also not far from la pine or bend and there's a museum very close by with animals and attractions for people of all ages ranging from history to live nature exhibits I really would recommend coming and seeing this beautiful place with your own eyes and bask in everything the Forrest has to offer ...please clean up after yourself and keep our lands beautiful so others can enjoy there majestic wonders for...
