Wemple's Pumpkin Patch — Attraction in Susanville

This was my kid's (and my) very first trip ever to any pumpkin patch and I'm so elated that Wemple's was the first one we ever attended! We went with his class on a field trip and we learned so much! The hayride was pleasant, the treat and drink were tasty, and they have some really cool patches brimming with chunky pumpkins! The staff is friendly and informative and excellent with the tiny tykes! They have a little store on the property and honestly the whole place feels like I was transported to a different time. They have a great playground for kids to explore and while I didn't get to explore their corn maze, others have raved about the experience from previous years! If you get a chance, go check them out! Nice place for a small town. If you want more to do, go out of the area for the big patches in Bishop or Placerville, but this place has grown with the times. Prices have increased with the economy, as well. Make sure to bring plenty of cash or your card. It wasn't so long ago that the hay ride was $1. I totally understand why it's not but it is definitely hard to see. Great family...
