Absolutely beautiful, but soooo sooo crowded. Granted we went on a super hot day so we expected a crowd but I didnt expect the beach to be so small. There was practically no parking available at either beach, but it looks like there are some parking lots under construction for the south beach. We had to drive back and forth for an extra 30 min trying to find an open spot to park. The beach was very nice but people were practically on top of each other because of how...

Our family stopped here one day in late September. It was a breezy day and the water was rough. The leaves were changing so the view was beautiful. I did a quick hike around on some of the trails. They seemed well marked and we'll worn. It looks like this place gets a lot of visitors so I don't think I would come here in peak summer season. There were smokers and drinkers down by the water and the smoke traveled up the trail and was a bit annoying. Otherwise the place...

It's very serene and has a nice chill vibe. speaking of chill, i could not get in the water in early August because it was too cold (not the waters fault, i'm just a baby.) Amazing, clear lake with cliffs on both sides. North and south beaches (plus a secluded nude beach on the south side) for swimming with large shallow areas, great for kids. Trails on both sides of the lake at the south end that lead to amazing views (Mt. Pisgah and Hor) of the entire lake and surrounding areas. Pretty good amount of parking as well
