I recently visited this pool, and my experience was a mix of both positives and negatives. Here's my honest review:
Indoor Pool: The indoor pool was a welcome option, especially during colder weather. The temperature inside was pleasantly warm, creating a comfortable environment for swimming. The water temperature was also adequately warm, which made it enjoyable for a relaxing swim. However, I must mention that I was disappointed with the condition of the water. It felt slimy on my skin, which was quite unpleasant and made the overall experience a bit gross. Improving the water quality should be a priority for the management.
Outdoor Pool: The outdoor pool had its pros and cons as well. On the positive side, they had a cute little whirlpool, which added a touch of luxury and relaxation to the swimming experience. However, during peak hours when the pool was crowded, it could feel overwhelming. If you prefer a more serene and peaceful environment, I would recommend avoiding those busy times. Additionally, the bathrooms at the pool were well kept and clean, which is always a plus.
Facility and Surroundings: One area where this pool falls short is the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. The surroundings looked worn-out and outdated, giving the impression that the management may not prioritize regular maintenance. This can be off-putting for visitors who expect a well-maintained facility. It would greatly enhance the overall experience if the management invested in refurbishing the pool area and updating the surroundings.
I hope that the management takes these points into consideration and works towards improving the overall experience for visitors.

Read moreWanting to make a great day for my two Grandchildren, when I went to pay for the pool, I was asked if I had a bathing suit.
First I asked if I had a bathing suit ON then I was asked if I had one with me. When I told them that I was not getting in the pool, I was told that I had to have a “prescribed” bathing suit on to enter the pool.
Neither “ascribed” design was fitting for my culture or religion, I was then told by the female manager and one of the “senior” lifeguards (1) “…you must wear (one of the ascribed) bathing suits to enter the pool by rules of the pool…” then I was told (2) “…you have to have proper attire to swim (after I told them I was not swimming). Then I was told (3) “…you must wear a bathing suit for “sanitary” reasons (when there are participants in the pool with evident psoriasis and eczema about their person, babies with REGULAR diapers on and those that entered that have not showered prior to entering the pool).
Lastly I was told (4) “…the filter of our pool requires you to wear clothing that will not clog it…” (that one was really reaching, but I was wearing ankle length, pullover bathing suit cover up).
No I did not wear a bathing suit and no I did not take the cover up off, but to be told that you have to break your modest tradition to be half naked to enjoy a public space needs to be addressed!
This slight of person seemed very directed, by modesty aside, as the desk agent didn’t check the person ahead of me or the person behind me for a bathing suit check, this seems to be a bit pointed and biased at the very least.
I pray this will be addressed by Gwinnett County and definitely will be brought up at the next...
Read moreI have been taking my kids and their friends to to Collins Hill Water park for about four years straight now. It has always been a pleasant experience and I had no complaints up into two days ago. When we arrived we were not given a warm welcome at all we were told that one of the children's swimsuit was not allowed because they look like gym shorts. Which I was fine with this, we left and came back the following day with the correct "swim" shorts. The children were allowed in but were told it wasn't quite 1 o'clock yet...it was 12:59 and 30 seconds on the dot, another family came in, they were allowed to go in before our group. I excuse this and let it pass. Once the kids were able to finally swim they felt they were treated unfairly because they could not do anything the other children were able to do as far as swim where they wanted and jump in the pool where the rules said they were allowed, they were constantly corralled and felt they were being a target for racism. I am very disappointed especially at the employee which was a lady at the front desk with her attitude towards all of us. Is this a prison or a waterpark we will never visit there again, terrible start...
