Peachtree Ridge Park — Attraction in Suwanee

I like the versatility of this park. There are 2 different fields that both have clean restrooms, an open field to play freely and 2 nice/big playgrounds. There are about 2-3 walking trails at this park which each give a different feel. Some are better for walking and the others are better for biking or running. There is a basketball court that's separate from the other main facilities. I think that this part is really cool because there is a mini parking lot for just basketball and its located at the entrance.

While some kids are their playing softball, baseball, and soccer games (on the fields in the back of the park), there is a playground for the younger kids that is nearby for when they are bored or still want to play without having to go back to the playground at the entrance. In the back where the softball/baseball/soccer fields are, there is a concession stan that would normally be open but is currently closed due to the Corona Virus outbreak.

Another thing is that there are 2 large areas/fields in both sections of the park that is just grass. These fields can be used for anything. Most importantly, I love how there is literally a whole parking lot for each section of the park so that people dont have to walk far or be near other people who are doing an entirely...

Have had a lovely experience working with Gwinnett County both times I have rented the pavilion. I am a local piano teacher and I wanted my students to have a safe way to have an in-person piano recital. I rented the pavilion at the park and brought my portable digital piano and a small amp.

We had 2 recitals, one in the fall of 2020 and one in the spring of 2021. The pavilion a that time had a 50 person capacity and masks were encouraged. We social distanced and had hand sanitizer available all over the place. I cleaned the piano after each performer and all families had sit with 6 feet apart from other families.

The best part was working with the kind and communicative people at Gwinnett County. They made the rental process very easy. Had to email and sign waivers but everything was very clear and well-organized. On the day of the event an employee from the county was there on time to turn on power and lights and to make sure hat we had everything we needed.

Very impressed by the service and I would definitely recommend using this park and the pavilion...

Very good place for kids with lot of play area and very big for least 30 to 1 hour of relaxation.The park has very big walking trails and just explored only 1 of trails out of many .Rest room are neat and parking 🅿️ is ample. The picnic area and tables are ample and not attached to floor . It can be easily moved around the shelters
