My little slice of heaven! I have ridden/boarded my horse at this farm for 10+ years. I feel completely confident in everyone that works there and knowing that my horse is completely taken care of even if I am not there for multiple days consecutively. The owner is the most generous hard-working woman I’ve ever met in my life and she is an absolute gem to this farm and town of Swansea. The farm is completely open to the public every day of the week (for free) and has a very welcoming sense of community for families and friends alike to come visit and see all the wonderful animals. The Sunday Farmers Markets are another amazing addition to the farm/town! There are multiple vendors able to support their own small businesses as well as pony rides and an entire farm full of animals for people to enjoy! I tell all of my friends and family to make sure they come visit at least once to be able to experience what I call my little...

Two stars for having a petting zoo .. but no more because their setup is really confusing. Their website said they were open, they had an Open flag on their mailbox, and Google said they were open ... but they definitely were not. At least not the petting zoo and market, but no separate hours were listed anywhere for them. We arrived just after 2pm on a Sunday, and a main gate was locked and nobody was around. Another group came around 215 looking for the market/shop, and we all just shrugged at each other. Just before we left at 230 (the kids wanted to at least see animals), some horseback riders came back and put their horses away in the stable. They left without a word, so we really have no idea when they are actually open, but maybe...

This is a working farm that rescues animals that are injured, abandoned, not wanted, or were abused. We stayed at the farm in our RV for 5 nights through Harvest Host. It was a nice, quiet stay. There are many animals, but surprisingly, it didn't smell bad like I thought it would. You're allowed to wander and interact with the animals, which was nice. The owner clearly is hard working and has a passion for her work. The animals have definite personalities, some quite spirited. We enjoyed watching their antics, some of them really love attention! If you're staying in an RV and need wifi, you'll be out of luck, fyi. We were allowed to use the hose to fill our freshwater tank. The only real downside was the flies....

Me and my boyfriend have been volunteering for a couple days now and we plan to stay as the environment is very healthy and positive, the animals are well taken care of and everyone is very nice. It’s not a huge farm but there is lots to do that is open to the public. There is the market, petting zoo, face painting, sometimes pony rides and ect. It’s a very good learning experience & inexpensive. The riding lessons are cheaper than almost every barn in MA and the stuff for the kids is very reasonable. Erin, the owner cares very much about the well being and care for her rescues and her staff members. I look forwards to working with them over the summer and continually after.
