I have been living here in Swansea for 28 years. The grove at the beach was beautiful with the natural shrubs with flowers bushes some trees ect. Many birds made their home there. So many of my friends and myself photographed this area near the beach because if it's natural beauty and wild life . Now it's all gone . Every shrub Bush tree has been removed . It's no longer a refuge and home for the birds and other wild life . If you were concerned about rodents you should jhandled it another logical way . Read moreWhat a different beach experience (we're used to southern beaches). You could walk well over a mile into the water, at least at low tide, before it even hit your waist.
The sand was soft, but FULL of periwinkle snails - I highly suggest wearing water shoes out there. The actual beach was nice and sandy with limited rocks and it wasn't too busy.

The water is also very warm and gradually gets deeper as you go further in. Lifeguards and the people there in general are so kind. Only negative is that it does get rocky so water shoes are a bit of a must. Love coming here...
