Read moreThe mountain bike trail is a great beginner trail! I have ridden it 6 times now. Took my 10 year old son once. A little too technical for my 6 year old. It takes me about twice as long as a road trip. This is a great place to work on my MTB technique or take a scenic ride. Most of the trail is shade covered. Hognose Loop and Blazing Star Loop are well marked. Blue Racer loop and the future trail section are marked but not done. If you take the Blue Racer Loop, you might want to bring a GPS to figure out where you are in case you end up in the future trails section. Be prepared to get off your bike and walk some obstacles that aren't completed. Getting into the future trails section makes this trail around 10 miles. Hognose and Blazing Star is about a 4.5 mile ride. Sandy trail for the most part with a few fun obstacles. There is a little elevation and a few sandy switchbacks. It is a nice workout for the beginner and probably a good place to work on your technique and skills for more advanced riders. Cycle Werks bike shop is 8 minutes away. The parking lot has all the necessary tools to make a quick fix on your bike. Trail is made and maintained by the Naturalist Scouts....
