I love this campground. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because it is a first come first served site. Oh and vault toilets.

As you enter the campground you drive over a quaint bridge crossing a beautiful river. The river that runs through the front of the grounds is absolutely amazing. It is so refreshing and cool on a hot summer day. There are some fairly deep parts that many love to jump off the rocks into, and there are very shallow parts for the younger kiddos, or perhaps those just not wanting to get too wet. Also, just a little further down, there is little setting of rocks that provide some white water action for those thrill seekers. By white water action, I do mean to say that there would probably be a little more found in your washing machine at home, but hey. Whatever knocks your socks off.

The campground itself is great. The sites are huge, well spaced, and separated by foliage, so there is a true sense of privacy. It's not a large campground, so it's extremely quiet (although I suppose that's relative to who your fellow campers are), and so very peaceful.

The actual sites are set back far enough that you can't hear highway noise, and behind the grounds there are many hiking trails for the rough and rugged, or the mild novice. Either way, there is much to do for several days while staying here. :)

4 thumbs up...

Had a lovely fall hike here! The 3/4 mile Soda Creek hike has a couple obstructions from the recent wind storms. Two trees were down, which obliterated the path and required scrambling. This involved going under a three-foot-off-the- ground fallen tree, and going over a muddy mind of dirt with a fallen root ball. It was all safe, but would be difficult if it trained recently. It was a fun adventure!

Only the small day use parking area just across from the bridge is open now, with the pit potties. During the summer season, a larger parking area with full restrooms is available to the west near the group...

This place is the best for the whole family and children ❤. People that work here are very nice and helpful. Only sad thing was that a lot of people bring their dogs and have them tied up at the campgrounds or at the river. Many of those dogs, I saw this weekend tied up at the river, it was hot and dog had no water to drink. Please PEOPLE, OWNER of Dogs let's treat our dogs, the way we want to be treated. Other than that, Cascadia Park its a fun place for the family. Thank you very much to the host who worked there July 23rd and 24th....

First come, first serve camping. Nice little camp ground with a total of 25 sites that include the two onsite host couples and a hiker / biker site. Lots of greenery and privacy. The sites are $17 a night. With in minuets of arriving you will be checked on by a camp host. Camping fees and rules are enforced, this is not a camp ground for people seeking free camping. You will be caught. No collecting fire wood either. There is a clean bath room and shower house. Some of the trails are closed due to weather damage.

Pure beauty. I am already missing the park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and they had 7 rolls of T-paper. The showers were free and warm water on demand. Also, the park is dog friendly, and Cowboy enjoyed his time on the river and made some new friends. I'm in love with Cascadia State Park. I look forward to future visits.
