As a fellow hockey family who recently visited Pacesetter Park for the first time, I must say it exceeded our expectations! While your son wanted to play flag football, I can assure you that this park is a fantastic destination for families involved in various sports, including hockey.
Pacesetter Park offers a spacious and open environment, which is perfect for sports activities like flag football and, of course, hockey! The wide area allows for plenty of room to practice and play to your heart's content. It's great to know that the park accommodates different sports enthusiasts.
Beyond the sports facilities, we were pleasantly surprised by the park's amenities. The playground is quite impressive, providing a fun and safe space for kids to enjoy. Additionally, the availability of shelter houses with chairs is a thoughtful touch, allowing families to relax and take a break while still keeping an eye on the action.
The presence of restrooms within a reasonable distance is definitely a plus, ensuring convenience for park visitors. The well-maintained facilities make it easy for families to spend a longer amount of time at the park without any inconvenience.
Parking at Pacesetter Park proved to be hassle-free, which is always a relief. The ample parking space ensures that you won't have to worry about finding a spot, allowing you to focus on enjoying your time with your son and the other activities the park has to offer.
Lastly, the refreshing breezy atmosphere at the park adds to the overall pleasant experience. It's always nice to enjoy some natural ventilation while engaging in outdoor activities.

Read moreWe did not explore the entire park, but where we did go was top notch! We parked by the baseball diamonds for our sons game & our daughters fled to the playground. I immediately noticed and was pleased to see that the playground was separated from the parking lot by a fence and some bushes which looked to me like a deterrent for running out in the parking lot or any child snagging. There was a drinking fountain located at the edge of the playground which made getting the kids a drink quite easy next we needed a bathroom on the way to the bathroom I discovered they had exercise equipment equal to what I might find at a gym except it was outdoor quality and designed to use your own body weight for the resistance. Very impressive. The bathrooms could have been better but the other good points more than made up for it. the bleachers at the ball diamonds were excellent! up high off the ground so you can see the game better than it most ballparks where you're at ground level. they had a concession stand- not the healthiest options but something to eat in a pinch. we also could see there was an abundant amount of soccer fields. hope this helps everybody have a nice time at this...

Toledo always had the absolute biggest fireworks in the area. Biggest metro city equals biggest show...a no brainier. But at Pacesetter park, we sat down. The kids could run and play. We weren't fighting for standing room only, nor smelling beer at every slight breeze. The traffic took a few minutes to get through on the way out, but it was nothing compared to other area shows. I mean, the Maumee-Pburg show is always one of my favorites every year. Just based on show itself, traffic, and atmosphere. I would easily put this close to that one. It's not the most scenic of venues, but everything else about it is...
