Called owner to let him know there were kids racing around the camper hook up lots on side by sides he told me he couldn’t do anything about it and to call the sherrif only to end the call with me and directly call the parents to tell them I was planning to call the cops on them. The parents removed the youngest child (10) out of a 1000cc Polaris for a kid of slightly older age and they continued to race around the parking lot over the posted speed limit and around 20-70k belongings. Apparently using the trail systems in the park is just too easy. Mind you none of the children had helmets or seatbelts on. After it continued I called the sheriff. After the deputy come to the park the parents were mean mugging me which I thought was quite comical. Then they had the bright idea to get in a semi while intoxicated and drive around the parking lot hoking the air horn while saying out the window well I’m only going the speed limit. So i recorded the incident, called the sheriff and let’s just say I didn’t see that gentleman again that evening. Last but not least on my final day at the park I returned from work to find my camper unplugged that no one knew how it got unplugged. Guess Casper just decided to stop by. Then the owner claimed I owed him 75 dollars still which I did not as for I paid online and have a receipt for my stay/payment. The owner then decided to take things to credit card fraud and charge my credit card without...
Read moreNot recommended for camping only. We dropped in as an overnight as we were passing through. Reserved a spot online and discovered once we arrived that slots 9-14 had no shade and were not very level. The site is an old sand pit that they filled with water and stocked with fish. On the opposite side of the Lake is an off road course for ATVs that is very popular. If you are coming to Play with ATVs, I'm sure that you would rate it higher. The ATV crowd partied and played music until well the past 2 am. Our dog was not amused by the stickers in his paws. He had to stay on the gravel/sand areas and there had to avoid broken glass. Our rating is based on the $35 fee for an overnight and that the walk to the one bathroom/shower was quite far and the showers were not particularly clean. We have certainly paid less for a much...
Read moreAwesome spot to camp and ride. The man working the office was very helpful, and we definitly will be returning! 1300 acres of Trails and open sand to rip around on the atv/utv's for only $5 daily. Whips required, and helmets for under 18 y.o. They also have Kids trails for the youngsters. Primitave and W/E sites available. No dump station on site- but north towards town on the right is a free dump station along a park area. If you like having a campfire.... Bring wood from a few towns over... there is none sold in town at all. Or many trees for that matter...its KS. Overall- we had a blast. Small peaceful lake, good camping, great riding.... close to town for ice and basics. I highly recommend this camping...
