Tampa Fishing Charters — Attraction in Tampa

I have been doing fishing charters for years and have had many good ones, let me tell you. But I was very impressed with Captain Will Shook. Not only was there the first impression of a gorgeous boat, clean environment, and top of the line tackle, but also the captain himself. Will is a genuine guy who loves fishing, and let me tell you, is darn good at it as well. Every spot we went to, Will put us on the fish. We hooked up with 7 tarpon over two days, and incredible number. The snook, redfish, and trout fishing is top of the line as well. Took four hours for the first line to even touch the water. After running back and fourth in rough water from spot to spot we stopped in one area for another four hours. after all was said and done, instead of honoring a no catch no pay policy like most other charters, we ended up with a $700 boat ride, which he was generous enough to discount from $1200. A better offer would've been: "Pay for the fuel and we will call it even." That would have been fine. we did not catch a single fish, and he acted like my wife didn't exist all day. Went out on Saturday March 30th and had a GREAT day fishing on Tampa Bay with Captain Will Shook. He has an outstanding boat, well maintained tackle and lively bait. In a 4 hour trip, myself and 2 others caught 25 to 30 snook (released) with the largest well over 12 lbs. and an 8 pound personal best for me. Even more important, we had loads of fun! Will is a great guy who works hard for his charters and makes it easy to relax and enjoy.
