Tangier History Museum — Attraction in Tangier

THIS IS A MUST VISIT MUSEUM!!! THE HISTORY AND ARTIFACTS ARE A MUST SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! ALL I KEPT SAYING WAS "😃I REMEMBER MY GRANDPARENTS USING ONE OF THEM OR HAVING ONE OF THOSE"! THE MOVIE ABOUT TANGIER ISLAND AND THEIR ANCESTORS WAS VERY HEARTFELT AND PASSIONATE!!! YES IT MADE ME CRY😢 BUT IT ALSO OPENED MY EYES TO HOW MUCH TANGIER ISLAND IS LOVED BY ITS RESIDENTS!!! IT ALSO SHOWED ME HOW MUCH TANGIER ISLAND IS IN NEED OF THE SEA WALL BEING BUILT TO HELP SLOW DOWN THE EROSION AND SINKING!!! YES WE DONATIONED TO THE CAUSE AND WILL AGAIN! If you've never experienced the charm of a Islander or just love being on the water, you've got to come check out Tangier Island, Virginia. Tons of history, delicious, fresh seafood ( softshell crab capital of the world) and many other things to do and plus they offer tours of the island. There are a few Islanders that own a vehicle, but for the most part, cars are prohibited without proper approval or permit.
