Nice little forest! The loop is less than a mile long, and well shaded. Nice views of the river along parts of the trail, while enjoying a symphony of bird song...if you enjoy nature, but not the bugs that come with it, then don't visit during the summer months (or invest in a good bug spray). Read moreI love the park mostly because its nearby, has a mix of nature trails and a small river with beach areas. Great for a quick stroll on a nice day or to take the dogs and cool off on a warmer day. Trails are pretty well kept. The bridges/ walkways could use some repair. There is a sign warning off this so hopefully they'll tend to that at some point. Seems like a good project for the local boyscout group...

The bridges and steps are dangerously in need of repair and there are so many downed trees that the waterways are stagnated and blocked.
