Went for my grandson's 5th bday. My daughter and her husband take him quite a bit. I haven't been in about a year. To my surprise, they have a new big building which is the actual entrance to the park (not sure what to call it but I'll just go with park🙃). The last time I went we drove pretty much all the way down the driveway and parked next to the chicken coop that says "eggs $5". The parking lot wasn't very big and it was on some grass with some dirt spots. Now the parking lot isn't to far from where you pull in and most of it is gravel. They did have a ton of area roped off on the grass that looked like it was for extra parking but not real sure. They have these plastic singing chickens above the door when you walk in. Which was really cute. Oh lets not forget that before you walk in there are nice clean restrooms for customers to use. When walking into this huge building there is a bakery and you can watch them bake up some goodies. Then of course they have several baked goods and toys for sale. You walk towards the back and go thru these sliding glass doors and that's where the long walk down to the actual animals begins. This is the negative side of this new parking lot and building. You have a very long walk down to the park area. If your bringing goodies for a birthday party you will definitely need to ask them to drive you down in one of their Gators. If you have issues walking or bad knees this won't be a pleasant walk for you either. Again this is a downside to where they placed the new entrance. Now they do have this crazy big chair for the family to sit in and snap some cute pics. That was neat. My hubby said he's gonna try to make one of those chairs. Ha, we have no room for that beastly chair I told him. 😯 once you get to the old parking area you start to see tons of random chickens and roosters wandering around. That's when you know you have made it.🙂 Let the fun begin. The petting area is really big and omg I wanted one of those baby pigs so bad. Absolutely adorable. The goats kinda freak me out when they see you stick your hand in the red hanging bucket. They all know what that buckets for and they want you to feed them first. They are not afraid to push one another out of the way in order to get some of that food your reaching for. Lol, they had a pig race. Just 1 and it was over in like 10 secs. We heard them announce it and by the time we walked from the picnic tables to where the race was it was over. Bummer. They are in the middle of building something that looks like it's gonna be really big next to the pony rides but couldn't figure out what it was. If you look around you will find random eggs that have been left by the chickens through out the park. They do sell alcohol. Well Michelob ultra, something that says "you'll shoot your eye out" and then 3 fruity alcoholic drinks. Not a big variety but it helps calm the nerves. They also sell pizza. Didn't see any other food. Should add hot dogs to the menu for sure. That's such a quick easy meal to prepare for customers. They have a lot of random things for the kiddos to do. Neat place for a kids party. A little pricey but they do have to feed all these animals and pay for the upkeep of the place and for employees. We don't mind paying good money when it's going towards something good. The employees were all pretty nice and smiling. I wouldn't recommend going after it rains. There is a lot of dirt everywhere and I can only imagine how bad it is after it rains. Would love to go when they have fresh fruit we can pick. The pumpkin patch is also fun for the little ones. It's def a place I would...

There is truly not enough negative feedback that I can give this farm. It is an absolute money grab and, from what I've seen does not care about it's patrons. Over Christmas we had booked tickets to the festivities. Unfortunately due to weather they had to close the farm that day. This is fine, I completely understand that these types of things happen. But Katherine, the 'Operations Manager', could not solve it for me. Quite honestly I'm not sure if this woman could manage her way out of a paper sack. Her response to issuing me a refund was to dispute it with my bank. She stated that they were issuing refunds to ticket holders for Christmas Eve because the festivities were closed and this was the last day they would be holding them. However she could not figure out how to issue me my refund and I needed to dispute it with my bank. This is pretty ridiculous when you think about it.

Now we fast forward to Easter. Last year for Easter we did their egg hunt, and it was average. Considering the other egg hunts within the town of Georgetown this one is not too bad. And we liked that you can participate in it without purchasing their overpriced general admission tickets. So we went online and purchased them like they told us to, and showed up yesterday at our scheduled time. The girl at the counter then proceeds to ask us if we had our general admission tickets, to which we replied no because we were not doing general admission, and she then proceeds to get an attitude with us that it's required to buy general admission tickets to take part in the egg hunt. It does not say this on their website, and if it had we would have chosen a different activity to do with our children. Just to put some of this in perspective, after general admission it would have cost me $100 to have two children doing egg hunt in which they only collect wooden eggs on the ground and turn them in for a cheap bag of candy. Haha. Again, this is outrageous. We spoke to a 'Lead' inside who informed us that we would need to email Katherine in order to solve our problem. I skipped that part and just went ahead to dispute the charge with my bank again. This is supposed to be a fun activity for small children and this farm absolutely only cares about wringing as much money as possible out of folks. And my biggest problem is the attitude that every single employee got with us when we were just trying to ask why GA is required, when it says nothing about that on their website. The girl behind the counter told us they have nothing to do with their website. This is not an acceptable excuse for not solving a customer's problem. There was another employee running the table leading into the farm near the pick your own strawberries who had an even worse attitude than the girl inside. Y'all should be embarrassed for your level of customer service, and for the price gouging that you have going on at your farm.

Thankfully we are resourceful people and were able to solve the issue on our own, and give our daughters a very fun Easter, but needless to say, I will never spend another $1 here again. And I will do anything I can to leave negative feedback about them anywhere that I'm able to.

Thanks for nothing sweet eats farm, thank you for nothing again, for the...

If I could give this place zero I would due to the profession of the front ticket staff and manager. We came here for our 1st time for the Sunflower event. My elderly parents we're in town visiting and I knew my mother loved sunflowers, so I brought her here for the experience of selecting her own flowers. As we got to the section of the sunflowers the cheapest option was pick 5 flowers for $12.00. This was in addition to the general entrance cost which we already paid for over $100.00 for 4 adults and 2 kids! We were given the cutting shears and away we went searching for flowers. We collected the flowers and then we walked around the area. As we were exiting the farm the front staff called me over very upset like as if I committed a big crime. I walked over and they asked me upset if I paid for the flowers? I said yes, my husband paid for them with his credit card at the sunflower tent where the other lady was collecting the money. They asked me if I got a bucket? I told them no, I did not get a bucket. They did not believe me and asked for our credit card. My mother was rather embarrassed and my husband a retired disabled vet was confused as to why they stopped only us when many others were walking out of the farm with flowers as well? The manager came by and asked us again if we paid for the sunflowers and I said yes with my husband's credit card. She asked for our credit card to be handed over to her to run it through their system to confirm. After that she apologized then drove away in her golf cart. That was all they did nothing else. They accused us of stealing in front of everyone and my mother was so distraught about the situation that she wanted to leave the sunflowers:-( We were hoping for a nice experience that day which turned out to be a terrible experience for my mother. I do not recommend this place for their professionalism (front staff and manager). They are other places to go in the area without the rudeness and...
