Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center — Attraction in Temple

This was a first visit for me here at the hall. The hall was rented for a very particular event and was loaded with many many high end expensive antiques and a whole lot of collectors. The hall, the restrooms, the concession area, all of it was outstanding. Clean, nice, well lit. What a great place to host any sort of high end event. The only thing I think could possibly make this place any better, would be something of a security camera set up. I did not see any cameras. Truthfully there could be a camera set up, however I did not see any. All in all, its a beautiful event center, and I look forward to catching the next event...

The Mayborn facility I have no complaints, modern, clean. The gun show I attended here sucked! When one goes to a gun show one expects to see many used guns, this one had more new guns, and hand guns than you could count in a day. One expects to see knives at a gun, show this one had knives at almost every other table. Add to those discrepancies all the non gun related tables, being a so called novice collector of sorts, I did not see one firearm I would...

Everything was right. There was plenty of parking, almost too much food, the best band since I have lived in Texas, wonderful people we shared the table with, etc. All of this for $5.00? It was a special evening and Christmas party that.I will never forget. And, they must have used professional decorators. The room had beautiful lighting, etc. Bottom line, it was enjoyable, comfortable and memorable....
