Pros: The facility is nice and clean, and the price is affordable. They play pretty good music.

Cons: Too many parents not watching their kids, which while the rules require kids under 12 be supervised, nobody enforces this. There was also a field trip there and the chaperones sat at their table and the kids just did whatever they wanted.

I guess that would be OK if the lifeguards did anything at all to enforce pool rules. Most of the time they had their backs to the pool in the kids area talking to the other lifeguard that sits at the bottom of the big slides. Neither of them watching their area easily for 2 to 3 minutes at a time before they'd glance back at the pool for a few seconds. I wish I was exaggerating. I was a lifeguard in the past, there's plenty of time for them to chat during their breaks, they need to be focused on the pool. The only rule they seemed to slightly care about was running.

In the kids area kids are literally plowing down the smaller slides 5 to 10 at a time, purposely getting stuck in the slides, blocking the bottom of the slide and running each other over (especially smaller kids) . Didn't see one lifeguard even attempt to put a stop to it in the 5 hours we were there. I spent almost my entire time trying to keep other kids from running my kids over. Watched another dad have to go over and get the lifeguards attention because a number of kids found their way underneath the rope bridge in the kids area that is off limits and very unsafe. They'd been under there for a few minutes. They need to add a second lifeguard in the kids area, preferably at the top controlling the chaos of the slide.

I'm not sure if the lifeguards don't understand how quickly things can go wrong in water, if they've just gotten complacent because nothing has happened yet or if they just don't care. Either way it's going to get someone hurt one day.

If you bring your kids here, especially littles, I'd recommend you keep a very close eye on them (and the bigger kids around them) because the lifeguards certainly won't be.

I went down the large red slide only to find the pool at the end isn't deep enough, causing my whole back to be scraped on the bottom. Probably not an issue for kids though.

On a final minor note, the snack stand couldn't serve food to any guests until after ~1pm because they had to serve the field trip first. Seems like they should be better prepared for that so they can...

Hates people with disabilities not friendly staff if your handicap with severe health issues or mental health issues not only do they disciminate they nit pick every little thing will make a handicap/ disabled person walk all the way back to their car even if parked super far away even after the explaining of the medical situation the person with me has heart failure and an oxygen tank the weather is in the 100s.. i explained to the lady i cant go back im already breathing super heavy I'm on fluoxetine and im becoming over heated not feeling good and felt sick with an inhaler in my hand i have anxiety and depression as well and other mental health issues going on i called in advance just in case too i told the people im not feeling good for the heat she still try to force me or I cant enter they wanted a sickly person to walk back to the car who was already over heating instead of offering them medical assistance or ice packs or anything to help them they kept me standing there waiting and the child we have with us is autistic she dosnt understand they put a braclet on her even when not paying yet and we ended up having to leave and she had a seriously bad experience that's traumatic to kids like that .and to make a disabled person walk all the way back to their car in 100 tempetures that's so not right even after the clearing I have anxiety and depression u can google what fluoxetine and anti depresents do to people in the heat . Awesome water park when it's not overcrowded. Water is clean unlike Summer Fun, plus it's half the price. Members Night is great for Season Pass holders, but just wish it was twice per month instead of once and that the big water bucket didn't tip over in the baby pool because it scares little ones. I'm glad exceptions are made for food allergies when doing bag checks.

The only drawback is the lack of rule enforcement by the lifeguards. They need to be more confident when they blow their whistle and be more aware of who is using the toddler slide.

They are well trained when it comes to incidents, but they need to blow their whistle louder and speak up when telling kids to walk so they're not ignored. I noticed they have been better about not allowing roughhousing. On a separate occasion I've also seen them say nothing when two older girls were using the toddler slide right in front of them, and again when they were not on that side, which caused a confrontation when I told those same girls it was for 2-5 only.

They got mad and pushed my two-year-old to cut in line, so I told a lifeguard and he told their mom about the age limit. The mom was understanding, however, the kids lied and said I was blocking them from using the slide and being disrespectful to them. When she saw who told on her kids, she thought I was staring at her and got irate, and started threatening to hurt me. I was trying to explain to her what happened but she kept yelling and wouldn't listen to reason.

The staff did a great job of standing between us so she wouldn't injure me, but afterwards I no longer felt safe being at the park. I hope in the future, staff do a better job of enforcing rules in order to prevent conflicts and keep the little ones safe. My son was having a great time on the slide until this happened, then all the kids started cutting in front of him because he got scared even when I tried to show him it was okay to hold your turn in line. It ruined the...

Lion's Junction is great for kids from infant to around 13. It's usually pretty clean, there are quieter places and more active ones, and the concession stand is pretty reasonably priced. There is a good number of life guards, but they ARE teenagers, and often get distracted by each other, so you do need to keep track of your own kiddo. On the down side, it can get very crowded on the days when summer camps are there. It's a small water park, and too many bodies means no fun. So if you get to the parking lot and see a school bus, just go home. Your kids will end up hit and pushed under water by bigger kids, and you will end up groped by teenagers.

It's a nice little water park, but does have a couple of drawbacks. You can't bring food or drinks into the park, which is industry standard, but the water fountains are filthy at all times. I wouldn't let my children drink out of them, which probably boosts the drink revenue of the concession stand. The other issue is having to have a parent on site if you aren't 13 years old. It seems that with lifeguards on duty, 10 or 11 years of age would be appropriate.
